Final Dress Up – Autumn Leaves
This phase is almost completely devoted to the study of the technique known as ‘Fuzzy effect’.
This is one of the most striking effects of traditional Japanese embroidery, and consists of parallel lines embroidered in the ‘valleys’ of the fabric, which in this case is silk crepe.
It is a highly sophisticated technique, used to create atmosphere.
In this phase too the student is free to choose from different designs.
